No olive wood trees are damaged or destroyed in the process of harvesting the wood. Only the pruning is authorized. This is the reason why these pieces are so exceptional.
Due to the nature of the olive wood, small cracks, variations and irregularities in the surface of the wood occur naturally and are not considered flaws, they only add to the charm and artisinal quality of our olive wood products.
In order to maintain its rich luster you may want to lightly polish with olive oil after each use.
